DAY 1 ARRIVE MUNICH - TOUR BEGINS

fellow travelers and Tour Manager to our Welcome
Dinner to celebrate your arrival in Germany. D

DAY 2 MUNICH
This morning, embark on a city tour of Munich. As
you make your way through this Bavarian capital,
see Olympic Park, the famous Glockenspiel and
more. In the evening, enjoy free time to explore
Munich’s Christmas markets and peruse handcrafted goods and tasty treats. B
DAY 5 INNSBRUCK - OBERAMMERGAU
View Neuschwanstein Castle, the mostphotographed castle in Germany and the
inspiration for the castle in “Sleeping Beauty.”
Pause at the Church of Wies (UNESCO), a
place of pilgrimage since the 18th century.
Legend claims that the wooden statue shed
tears during prayer. Your journey continues
to Oberammergau. Enjoy lunch with new friends
or spend some time on your own getting to know
this picture-perfect Bavarian village. B D

DAY 3 MUNICH - INNSBRUCK
Say goodbye to Munich and make your way to
Innsbruck, nestled in the heart of Austria’s Alps.
Stop along the way for a chance to visit more
Christmas markets, perhaps grabbing a bite of
some local favorites for lunch. Get a taste of
Innsbruck’s Tyrolean culture with a lively Folk
Show Dinner. BD
DAY 4 INNSBRUCK - SEEFELD
Enjoy a walking tour through the charming
streets of Innsbruck with a local guide. Take
in landmarks such as the Golden Roof. Next,
journey by train 3,600 feet above sea level to the
idyllic village of Seefeld, one of the world’s great
ski resorts, thanks to miles of lakes and trails. Step
off the train into the pure Alpine air to find an
authentic horse-drawn carriage – and a traditional gift of schnapps – waiting for you. Belt out a
carol or two as you are whisked across the snow
and participate in a demonstration of how to make
(and eat!) traditional strudel. Glide your way back
to Innsbruck and shop for the perfect souvenir at
the Swarovski Crystal Worlds Store. B

Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany
DAY 6 INNSBRUCK
Enjoy a full day at leisure in Innsbruck. Go treasure
hunting at the Christmas markets, brimming with
the sights, smells, and sounds of the season. Revel in
good cheer while brass bands play from the towers
and indulge in some glühwein, a warm winter drink,
and stollen, while chestnuts roast on open fires. B
including the lavish Schönbrunn Palace and the
summer retreat of the Habsburg dynasty. Next,
venture to St. Stephen’s Cathedral and the Old
Town of Vienna on foot. Make the most of some
free time to grab some lunch and head back to
the city’s vast Christmas markets. Perhaps you’ll try
another cup of glühwein. B D
DAY 7 INNSBRUCK - SALZBURG - VIENNA
Over the mountains and through the woods of
the Austrian countryside resides the storybook
Old Town of Salzburg. Then, journey through the
baroque heart of the Old City and the famous
thoroughfare of Mozart’s birthplace. Head out to
enjoy a free afternoon with the locals, affectionately
known as “Salzburgers.” Be sure to enjoy a traditional
Mozart chocolate (or two) and do some treasure
hunting at any of six Christmas markets. B
DAY 8 VIENNA
Experience Vienna with an expert guide, providing insight into its beloved history and traditional
architecture. Vienna is Austria’s capital and largest
city, known as the “City of Music” because it was
the hometown of Mozart, Beethoven, and
Strauss. View some of its architectural marvels,

DAY 9 VIENNA - TOUR ENDS
After exchanging addresses and goodbyes, your tour
